Gruia is originally from Bucharest, Romania. Having also lived in South Africa, he has now found a home in Walnut Creek and a church home in WCPC. Upon seeing an ad in the Sunday bulletin for CCCT's monthly Family Comedy Games Night, Gruia not only tested his acting wings, but he was quickly recruited to audition for Lilies. The rest is history. In addition to this being Gruia's first CCCT show, it is his debut theatrical appearance. He hopes that some of God's power and characteristics will be shown through the performance. Gruia is currently a university student, and a part-time math tutor. Together with his wife Jamie, he enjoys living to glorify God.
